Tweseldown didn't go quite to plan, having left in plenty of time to reach the event, have time to collect our number and leisurely walk the cross country, we in fact turned up so late having been sat in traffic that we only had 5 minutes to warm up for the dressage.

NT did a fab dressage test with a score of 26.5 and even though we had the last fence down showjumping we went to the start of the cross country with a three point lead. Unfortunately, Tweseldown just wasn't to be, we only got as far as fence 8 the sunken road, which proved just far to frightening and it was the walk of shame for us.

A long hot drive home, with a plan for some cross country schooling in the next few weeks. Although a disappointing end to the day, NT is only a baby, he has improved so much since finishing his racing career a short time ago and will back to fight another day.
